The Journal of the Institute of Brewing (JIB) is an international journal publishing high-quality scientific papers reporting significant recent research. Acceptable research areas include those relating to the brewing and fermentation industries, their raw materials and by-products.
JIB welcomes original papers and review articles dealing with all aspects of the raw materials of brewing and the brewing process and with other fermentation industries, such as cider manufacture and distilling. Please contact the editor via email at david.quain@ibd.org.uk if your paper falls outside of the brewing and distillation area before submitting it. Papers may be reviews or reports of original investigations that make a definitive contribution to existing knowledge. The content must not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and papers must not be under consideration by another journal. Papers are drawn from universities, research institutes and industrial laboratories worldwide. All submissions are sent to two expert reviewers for assessment with due consideration to confidentiality.
